Our Terms and Conditions
1. Down Payment for Bookings
For safaris or tours booked more than 30 days before departure, a 50% down payment of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking.
The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full no later than 30 days before the safari or tour start date.
2. Full Payment for Last-Minute Bookings
For safaris or tours booked 30 days or fewer before departure, the full tour amount (100%) is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
3. Payment Currency
All payments must be made in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise agreed in writing with Tembelea Asilia Adventures.
Tanzanian residents may pay in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) at the prevailing exchange rate.
4. Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods include:
Direct Bank Transfer to Tembelea Asilia Adventures’ official bank accounts.
Mobile Payment via M-Pesa or other approved mobile money services.
Online Payment using credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) where available.
Payment details will be provided upon booking confirmation or can be requested at info@www.leoafricansafaris.com.
5. Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required payment (either 50% or 100%, depending on booking timing) and issuance of a written confirmation email from Tembelea Asilia Adventures.
Unpaid or partially paid bookings may be canceled without prior notice if payment deadlines are not met.
6. Agreement to Policies
By making any payment, you automatically agree to Tembelea Asilia Adventures’ Terms and Conditions, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and all safari or tour-related guidelines provided during booking.
7. Non-Transferable Payments
All payments are non-transferable to other individuals or tours unless approved in writing by Tembelea Asilia Adventures management.
8. Currency and Pricing
All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) and include park fees, guide services, 4×4 safari vehicle use, meals, and accommodations as specified in your itinerary.
Prices exclude international flights, visa fees, travel insurance, gratuities, and personal expenses unless otherwise stated.
9. Late Payments
Failure to settle the remaining balance by the due date (30 days prior to departure) may result in automatic cancellation of your booking, and the initial deposit will be forfeited.
10. Force Majeure
Tembelea Asilia Adventures shall not be held liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, epidemics, or park closures.
In such cases, refunds or rescheduling will be handled on a case-by-case basis, subject to the policies of relevant service providers (e.g., TANAPA, NCAA, hotels, or airlines).
11. Liability
By booking and paying for a safari or tour, you acknowledge that certain activities carry inherent risks, such as wildlife encounters, off-road driving, and outdoor conditions.
Tembelea Asilia Adventures and its partners shall not be held responsible for injury, loss, or damage unless resulting directly from proven negligence by the company or its employees.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from payments, services, or bookings shall be governed by Tanzanian law, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Arusha, Tanzania.

Tembelea Asilia Adventures – Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Tembelea Asilia Adventures, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Our refund and cancellation policy aims to be fair to both our guests and the local suppliers we work with, while ensuring that all parties are protected.
1. Cancellation by the Client
If you wish to cancel your confirmed booking, you must notify Tembelea Asilia Adventures in writing (via email to info@www.leoafricansafaris.com).
The following cancellation fees will apply, calculated from the date we receive your written notice:

| 15–29 days | 50% of total tour cost |
| 7–14 days | 75% of total tour cost |
| Less than 7 days / No show | 100% of total tour cost (no refund) |
Please note that non-refundable deposits paid to hotels, airlines, or park authorities may be deducted from any eligible refunds.
2. Cancellation by Tembelea Asilia Adventures
In the unlikely event that Tembelea Asilia Adventures must cancel your tour (for reasons such as insufficient participants, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances), you will be given the choice to:
Reschedule your tour to a future date, or
Receive a full refund of all payments made.
However, the company will not be liable for additional costs such as visa fees, flights, or insurance purchased independently.
3. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 21 business days from the date of confirmation.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction (e.g., bank transfer, card payment, or M-Pesa).
Bank or transaction fees associated with refunds are the responsibility of the client.
4. No Refunds for Early Departures or Unused Services
Once a tour has started, no refunds will be issued for:
Early departures or late arrivals
Missed activities, meals, or accommodations
Unused portions of the itinerary
Tembelea Asilia Adventures is not responsible for missed services due to illness, flight delays, or personal decisions.
5. Changes and Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your safari or tour, we will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability and supplier policies.
A date change fee or price adjustment may apply depending on the new travel dates and seasonality.
6. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events)
No refunds will be provided for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, pandemics)
Political unrest or government restrictions
Park or border closures
In such cases, Tembelea Asilia Adventures will assist clients in rescheduling their tours or obtaining partial refunds as permitted by local suppliers.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
Trip cancellation and interruption
Medical emergencies and evacuation
Lost luggage and travel delays
This ensures full protection against unforeseen circumstances beyond your or our control.
